Job Description

DIRECTOR OF VALUE SOLUTIONS
This is a description for the new to be created heavy commercial orientated (sales) function of DIRECTOR OF VALUE SOLUTIONS. For this position we are looking for an outstanding person that is both experienced, confident and humble enough to do the work to make a big impact. Impact on the Company in the early (start-up) stages as well providing enough added value during the growth & build phase. The start of the function will be concentrated in Benelux. Depending on the contributions and the proven qualifications of the person, the tasks could scale over to Germany and possibly into European territory. (2-5 yrs)

General overview of the position
  • Strategically Plan and operationally manage all QINQO solutions that the company provides to its retail & distribution partners.
  • maximising commercial potential for the company.
  • reaching optimal market share, scale & margin objectives for the company
  • build, develop and lead a commercial team to ensure the company can reach its aggressive growth & scale plans
  • Develop the best possible value solutions for our retail partners
  • Maximise the performance of the company
  • The function starts in The Netherlands; but has a short term broader international goal.

Goals
  • Co-develop, execute and delivery of a Benelux Commercial plan to reach the company growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top retail & distributors for QINQO
  • Develop Retail distribution for QINQO in the leading retail channels
  • Setup a scale able Sales & Distribution partner structure
  • Grow the sales department accordingly growing our retailer base in the starting territories (Netherlands, Belgium and Germany)
  • Develop the right balance between whilst maintaining healthy margins to be able to  Reach the company’s aggressive growth
  • Ensure all QINQO partners & stakeholders are serviced well so that they prefer QINQO over possible other solutions
  • Maximise market potential of all QINQO products & solutions
  • Monitor & Consider new channels to market and constantly improve the business on both revenue and margins
  • Ensure optimal levels of stock is held at all parts of the chain

Duties & Tasks
  • Plan, manage and implement commercial strategies to maximise market potential
  • Manage the sales budgets within agreed limits re margin and investments
  • Brief, select and evaluate retail and distribution partners to achieve the commercial goals
  • Be a QINQO  ambassador and spokesperson for our vision and values
  • Daily liaison with our key accounts and distributor to ensure clear communication of the plans
  • give QINQO a 'face' with your servicing attitude towards our relations
  • regular store visits and report on retail activity and trends in the market place
  • regular monitoring & reporting of key sales, market, price and competitor data
  • optimize the solutions & offerings towards our channels
  • ensure generating the right momentum and results to build, train & lead  a commercial team to maximise results & market potential

Professional qualifications
  • Proven success and warm network on senior level in mass market (FMCG) retail,
  • capable of presenting complex reports and insights both internal and external
  • heavy understanding of the concept of ‘consultative selling’  and complex sales processes where a lot of stake holders need to say aligned
  • Understanding of social media, games and online is a big plus
  • the ability to act fast and contribute to creating value
  • Assertive but diplomatic when faced with issues
