Job description
Areas of Responsibility:
Lead and manage the direction of the Sales, in line with the strategic and/ or operational objectives of Booo B.V. in order to optimise the profitability, income and growth of the company.
Ensure the development, implementation and execution of efficient commercial strategies and plans within the Sales, in line with the Business Strategy and standards, in order to achieve qualitative sales volume, new business volume and income.

Linked to the above in shortest possible time to transform Booo into a consumer electronics brand with a worldwide network of retailers and solid online presence.
Define vision, strategy, objectives, operational plan and budget for the Sales in line with strategic or operational objectives, in order to give direction to the sales in a way that optimises cash flow, profitability and growth.
Ensure the optimal execution of activities and utilisation of available resources, techniques, systems within the Sales in line with the operational objectives and compliant with (local) regulations, in order to increase the efficiency of the sales as well as the customer service excellence in a way that optimises client retention rates.
Create or contribute to awareness and the promotion of positive attitudes towards major topics throughout the Sales, in line with the Business Strategy and Business Objectives, in order to achieve and maintain a change in organisation culture and increase in performance.
Tasks:
Define mission, tasks and structure, etc.
Define and manage KPI’s and objectives for all Sales activities, in line with annual plan & budget.
Ensure optimisation and standardisation of business processes and systems within the Sales.
Frequently (month) reporting the status quo of the Sales in Progress Review Meetings and/or Board of Advisors meetings of Booo B.V.
Give direction to Sales activities.
Align strategies and/ or plans with Booo B.V.
Ensure or contribute to the development of business cases.
Ensure or contribute to the development of relationships with ‘candidates’ (locations/partners/investors/designers/retailers/wholesales, etc.).
Ensure or contribute to the planning and execution to achieve the right economies of scale.
Ensure the development, optimisation, application and alignment of relevant resources, techniques and systems within the Sales.
Promote a culture of customer service excellence.
Ensure and contribute to good interdepartmental relations of Booo B.V.
Ensure the establishment of qualitative and long term client and partner relationships.
Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions if necessary.
Ensure and contribute close contact with business development (Brand Identity department)
Ensure and contribute to the back office in sales. Establish and execute customer service guidelines.

Desired Skills and Experience
Essential qualifications and abilities:
At least 5 years experience in a commercial management position.
Good knowledge of the market, self-motivation and consistent focus on client acquisition and new business. Knowledge/network in distributors, retailers, agents and online commerce.
