Your Challenge
As Senior Director Business Process Owner you are challenged to:
Ensure that Procurement Transformation gets traction via world class processes, ways of working, methodologies enabling Procurement to deliver a sustainable performance
Define the future business processes with involvement of Procurement starting from the strategic requirements/design down to operational execution until world-class solutions are deployed
Complete/detail the Philips Business Process framework for all Business Models (Products, Systems, Services, Software) and coordinate the interconnections to deployment of programs
Manage in a consulting/project management style a team of BPOs (Business Process Owners), BPE (Business process experts) in the environment of E2E (End to End) and PIL (Philips Integrated IT Landscape)
Shape the next chapter of Philips Procurement and thus you own an ideal springboard position to reach out for Philips leadership positions

Your Responsibilities

As Senior Director Business Process Owner you are responsible for:
Lead a project team of BPOs (Business Process Owners) and/or BPEs (Business Process Experts)
Manage a Pool of BPEs as a line manager reporting to you across your process domain
Take ultimate accountability to define, design and build and monitor (incl. continuous improvement) multiple business processes and accompanying procedures and policies in an complex area across sectors/functions
Assume accountability to achieve/enforce KPIs to drive process performance, quality, compliance while maximizing efficiency (process cost)
Launch deployment of IT-tools (incl. corresponding budgeting and prioritization) together with the IT business partner and drive master data maintenance projects
Gather the strategic process requirement and align with cross functional stakeholders ensuring Philips End2End consistency
Representing the Procurement function in sectors and in the Indirect Materials and Services organization for all relevant business models, defining, developing and maintaining the Philips Business Process Framework while ensuring seamless alignment with BPOs in connected process domains
Ensure standardization of processes and coordinate process improvements initiatives
Build and maintain strong collaboration with transformation / businesses to maximize learning and support adoption and scalability of proven practices
Pro-actively capture, share and leverage learning from process improvements and transformations within the Business Process Owner (BPO) community
Support End2End transformation teams regarding adoption of best practices, supporting to understand the winning value chain, the related business requirements and opportunities for improvement and elimination of unrewarded complexity
Manage periodic process audits, resolve issues and root causes together with the business

We are looking for
To be successful in this role you:
Have a minimum of 10 years and a Bachelor/Master’s degree; or a PhD with 6 years of experience
Professional mastery in the process optimization and re-engineering domain
As an expert in the field, use professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters
Experience within a large multinational environment is required
Strong drive to change is required
Relevant experience within Procurement is preferred
Excellent understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferably)
Interact internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters
Willing to travel about 40% of your time (Globally)

Are you currently a senior level Quality expert and seeking a new challenge? Do you want to be the driving force in total quality management? As Quality Project Office Manager it’s your challenge to manage a portfolio of quality improvement projects across businesses and markets for Philips Lighting. We challenge you to improve customer satisfaction via incident prevention, zero defect programs, improving root cause analysis, FMEA, 8D and transition programs. Furthermore you determine project scope, risks, define corrective action and track the projects to closure.

Your responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of quality improvement & transformation projects across businesses and markets
• Apply standard project management tools to ensure achievement of project objectives
• Communicate to and align with stakeholders while challenging business and market leaders & decisions and question assumptions
• Support business and markets (leaders, project managers, BPO’s) by supplying and executing project & transformation management services, escalating when appropriate and managing and anticipating on risks and road-blocks
• Drive cultural change by leading and facilitating transformation workshops, and coaching team members for success.

Your team
You will become part of the Function Quality team of Philips Lighting in Eindhoven. You will interact with Lighting Business Groups and Market Quality Managers, Lighting Quality Excellence team and the E2E Transformation team. You will report directly into the Sector Lighting Head of Quality and Customer Care. Depending on the amount of projects in your portfolio, you can have 5 – 7 indirect reports in the projects.

We are looking for
• Master degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant working experience: at least 5 year experience in quality development and/or service roles
• In-depth knowledge of program management methods and with managing large scale projects
• Experience in the practical use of quality processes and tools and continues improvement techniques (like LEAN, DfSS, DMAIC, 8D and statistical analysis), a black belt certification is preferred
• Proven track record of cooperating cross-business, cross-regional and cross-functional
• Ability to organize job and organization structure necessary to successfully deliver the project objectives
