Job description
We are looking for a (Sr) Art Director for Trend Analysis supporting our team on this mission with a strong focus and Visual Trends and Color, Material and Finishing competence.

Your responsibilities

As (Sr) Art Director Trend Analysis you assist the Creative Lead on setting the trend directions for the design strategy for the category and at the same time play an active and hands-on role in key projects of the Male Grooming category.

Together with the Creative Lead and Product Design Team you will define the design principles for our Philips Male Grooming design strategy. This way you will help the team to bring together a truly integrated brand experience for our consumers across all touch points.

You are responsible to translate those design principles into color strategies for the portfolio of Male Grooming. For your solutions you draw upon research insights, building a deep understanding of our Male Grooming consumer, trends and future technologies.

Within the design team you will work in close co-operation with the other members and functions as product, UX and communication design as well as freelancers under direction of the Creative Lead.

We expect of you, that you are able to strongly articulate propositions visually and verbally and to communicate design solutions in clear and meaningful ways.

Your team

You will be part of the Philips Design Male Grooming team, which is part of the Design team for Philips HealthTech located in Amsterdam.

We are a multi-disciplinary team including various different functions from product & service design to communication design.

We are looking for
Minimum of 3-8 years work experience working on trend analysis and color development.
You have a good understanding of brand strategy and identity management.
You have a diverse portfolio that demonstrates a good sense of aesthetics, brand experience and understanding of customer insights and segmentation and socio-cultural as well as visual trends.
You have a proven ability to use words as part of the creative process, in order to strategize the trend directions and apply them in our design process.
You have an interest and affinity male personal care products along and maybe already experience working in the health and beauty market.
You can develop trend strategies and translate these strategies into differentiating color concepts.
You are verbally and visually strong in articulation.
You have a high level of professional skills, including computer skills.
You are able to work within tight deadlines, demonstrating a high degree of flexibility.
You are able to take ownership but equally be part of a team and direct others.
Bachelor or Master degree.
