Job description
Quintiq's fast growing EMEA Oil & Gas business unit is looking for a business development director. You will be responsible for the business unit’s customer footprint and growth within the region. You will focus on business development and sales of Quintiq software in the oil & gas supply chain market.
The profitability of the Oil & Gas business unit in the region
Business development and executing strategic vision for the oil & gas supply chain market
Initiate and manage complex sales cycles
Act as a visionary within the oil & gas supply chain market
Act as a trusted adviser for prospects and customers
Sell Quintiq software in the oil & gas supply chain market
Manage, motivate and inspire the Oil & Gas business unit
Maximize existing client business relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Lead negotiations and close deals with all levels inclusive of upper management
Manage, motivate and inspire the Oil & Gas business unit
Maximize existing client business relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Lead negotiations and close deals at the highest possible level in the enterprise

Desired Skills and Experience
A master’s degree in business or engineering
Experience in LNG, O&G and petrochemical markets, and eager to expand Quintiq's global presence in those markets
The ability to convince customers of the merits of our software
A strategic mind-set and a visionary in the supply chain market
Experience in managing a team
English speaking and writing skills
Excellent presentation and networking skills
The ability to understand customer needs
A successful track record in business development and complex sales cycles
A background in strategic consultancy is an advantage but not a necessity
